OUR POLICY AT A GLANCE

We want to be transparent with you. Because we are a small business offering curated fashion and handmade crafts, we operate with a limited return policy. This helps us keep our prices fair and our quality high while protecting our business from the high costs of returns that many online fashion retailers face .

Most of our products are final sale and non-returnable except in cases of damage, defect, or if you receive the wrong item. Please choose carefully when placing your order.


WHAT IS NON-RETURNABLE (FINAL SALE)

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged:

  • All jewelry (for hygiene and safety reasons)

  • All handmade crafts (each piece is unique and made with care)

  • Lingerie, innerwear, and swimwear (hygiene reasons)

  • Earrings (hygiene reasons)

  • Items marked “Final Sale” on the product page

  • Sale or discounted items (unless damaged or defective)

  • Gift cards

  • Items purchased during promotional events (as specified at time of purchase)

Please note: For all final sale items, we cannot accept returns even if you change your mind about size, color, or style.


WHAT IS RETURNABLE (WITH CONDITIONS)

For eligible clothing, bags, and shoes (excluding items listed above), we offer returns only within 7 days of delivery under the following conditions:

  • Item must be unworn, unwashed, and unused

  • All original tags must be attached

  • Item must be in original packaging

  • Shoes must be tried on a carpeted surface to protect the soles 

  • No signs of wear, odor, or damage

Returns for reasons such as “changed mind,” “didn’t like the color,” or “ordered wrong size” are not accepted unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.


DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Defective in quality

  • Different from what you ordered (wrong size, color, or product)

Please contact us immediately at saundaryafashionandco@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery. Include:

  • Your order number

  • Photos clearly showing the issue

  • A brief description of the problem

We will review your request and provide instructions. If approved, we will offer you a full refund, replacement, or exchange depending on stock availability. Return shipping costs for damaged/defective items will be covered by us.


EXCHANGES

We currently do not offer direct exchanges for size or color preferences. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size or color and your item qualifies as returnable (not final sale), you would need to:

  1. Return the original item (at your own shipping cost)

  2. Wait for the return to be received and inspected

  3. Once approved, place a new order for the desired item

This process ensures you get the correct item as quickly as possible. We recommend contacting us first to check availability before initiating a return.


HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

If you believe your item qualifies for a return under this policy:

  1. Email us at saundaryafashionandco@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery

  2. Use the subject line: “RETURN REQUEST – Order #[Your Order Number]”

  3. Include your order number, item details, and reason for return

  4. Attach clear photos if applicable

We will respond within 2-3 business days with instructions.

Please do not send any item back without first contacting us. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.


RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • For approved returns due to damage, defect, or our error: We will provide a return label or reimburse reasonable shipping costs.

  • For all other returns (if approved under policy exceptions): Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.

  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service for returns, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit .


REFUND PROCESS

Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 3-5 business days . You will be notified via email about the status.

  • Approved refunds: Will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or card issuer.

  • Store credit: If offered as an option, store credit will be issued as a gift code via email within 3-5 business days.

Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used at purchase .


CANCELLATIONS

  • Orders can be cancelled only if they have not yet been processed for shipping.

  • Once an order is processed or shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

  • To request cancellation, email us immediately at saundaryafashionandco@gmail.com with your order number.

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the conditions stated in this policy.

  • We monitor return activity and may restrict accounts that show unusual return patterns .
